List of Western movies - This list consists largely of the more occasional, big budget, postmodern westerns, and is not representative of the genre across time. Help is needed in adding the several thousand silent and talking western films and TV programs, made prior to the Clint Eastwood-Spaghetti Western days, which defined the genre for at least the first half of the 20th century. References to Star Trek - Since its original airing in 1966, Star Trek with spin-off series and movies has become part of (Western) pop culture. Highly recognizable, Star Trek has been parodied, spoofed and referenced in television series, movies, comic books and other contexts. John scott ( Canadian stunt co-ordinator) - John Scott is a rancher/movie stunt co-ordinator who owns an expansive ranch in the western Canadian province of Alberta. On his ranch are several movie sets (including a small western town) which have been used in several Hollywood movies.
