Classic Westerns

"Nineteenth-Century Music: The Western Classical Tradition" provides a guide to the basic literature of European art music from which we still draw the majority of our repertory in modern concert halls and opera theaters. "Stampede At Tent City" (October 29, 1958) - William Conrad made his TV dramatic debut, as Clark Benson, in a first-season episode. "The Cisco Kid" - Duncan Renaldo is O. Henry's Robin Hood of the Old West, with Leo Carrillo as Pancho. "Ghost Town" (February 12, 1952) - Sondra Spencer (Marsha Jones) must find her family's records in "deserted" Mesa Verde. "Buried Treasure" (February 19, 1952) - A New Orleans historian imagines Cisco and Pancho as pirates Jean and Pierre la Fitte. "The Best of Classic Television Westerns, Vol.2" - "Wagon Train" - This epic, star-studded series follows the settlers all the way from Missouri to California.
